Rainfall, which could be locally heavy at times, will move through the area from this evening (14/02/20) and through tomorrow morning (15/02/20). River levels have fallen on the Bloxham Brook and are within banks, however River levels on the Sor Brook in the Bodicote area remain high and are gradually rising as a result of heavy rainfall. Owing to saturated catchments, both the Bloxham Brook and Sor Brook are very sensitive to further rainfall. Therefore, the risk of flooding of roads and low lying land is possible. We are expecting further showers this morning, followed by a band of rainfall this afternoon (21/12/19). We therefore expect river levels to remain high over the weekend.
