Ifield Brook, River Mole
River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall overnight. Consequently, flooding is imminent, and we believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties along Ifield Green Road and Ifield Avenue nearest the river. No further rainfall is forecast through Thursday morning. We expect river levels to remain high until 10:00 on Thursday 14th November. Our incident response staff are actively monitoring the situation and are prepared to respond if required. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated later this morning, or as the situation changes.
