Levels on the Tidal River Trent are forecast to rise in response to spring high tides which are expected this evening, Thursday 1st February. As a result, flooding of low lying agricultural land and roads around Keadby, Amcotts, Owston, Burringham, Gunness, Althorpe, East Butterwick, Flixborough, Gunness Lane and, Neap House road is possible starting at the high tide this evening around 7 PM on Thursday. River levels will be at their highest today around 7.30 PM, Thursday 1st February. High water levels can be expected 1 hour before and after the peak of the high tide. We are closely monitoring the situation. We will update this message by Friday morning or as the situation changes.

Levels on the Tidal River Trent are rising in response to, persistent rainfall and high tides. As a result, flooding of low lying land and roads around Keadby, Amcotts, Owston, Burringham, Gunness, Althorpe, East Butterwick, Flixborough, Gunness Lane and, Neap House road is possible starting at the high tide tomorrow morning around 8.30 am on Thursday 4th January. High water levels can be expected 1 hour before and after the peak at each high tide, continuing for the next few days. We urge residents to prepare, remain vigilant and avoid walking and driving through flood water. We are closely monitoring the situation and working with and assisting the council and emergency services. We will endeavour to update this message within 8 hours or if the situation changes.
