The A153 at Billinghay remains closed and diversions are in place due to temporary defences which have been installed across the road to protect nearby residential properties. As levels on the River Witham remain high this means that the Skirth is unable to discharge water into the Witham at times of tide lock where the Witham is unable to flow out to sea at times of high tide.
