A FLOOD WARNING update has been issued for Scapa.
The highest water levels have now passed. High and overtopping waves may still cause hazardous conditions along the shore road at Scapa and around Scapa Pier on Tuesday night and during the day on Wednesday. The shore road has been closed due to conditions and may remain closed.
The next two high tides tides will peak on Tuesday night around midnight and Wednesday around 12:15pm.
Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is available through Floodline on 0345 9881188. An updated FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Scapa.
A combination of high tides and strong Southerly winds means that high and overtopping waves will cause hazardous conditions along the shore road at Scapa and around Scapa Pier which may make both inaccessible. Low lying properties and roads around Scapa are at risk of flooding.
The highest water levels on Tuesday are predicted to be the highest in the last 15 years. Any properties that have been affected by coastal flooding in the past are likely to be at risk on Tuesday.

A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Scapa.
A combination of high tides and strong Southerly winds means that high and overtopping waves will cause hazardous conditions along the shore road at Scapa and around Scapa Pier which may make both inaccessible. Low lying properties and roads around Scapa are at risk of flooding.
The highest risk will be a few hours either side of the high tide on Tuesday around 11:15am. There may also be a risk of wave overtopping around the high tide on Monday night, around 11:15pm.
