River levels are rising at the Childswickham river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property and farmland is possible today, 18/02/24. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads around Childswickham Road in Broadway. Flood water may be spilling may be spilling from both banks of Bunches Brook upstream of Leedons Holiday Park Flood water could be deep and fast flowing, and therefore pose a risk to life.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to rise this morning and for today 18/02/24.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and or Local Authorities.
