A FLOOD WARNING update has been issued for Milton and The Meadows. The River Deveron has now peaked but levels will remain high into late afternoon on Sunday. Improving conditions will see levels dropping overnight and into Monday morning. River levels are expected to remain below the overtopping level of the flood prevention scheme during this time but further updates will be issued if this changes. Persistent heavy rain across the area is expected to result in a rise in the River Deveron and tributaries during Saturday afternoon and overnight into Sunday. The persistant, somrtimes heavy rainfall is expected to continue into the early hours of Sunday morning. River levels are expected to be high in the area from around 9pm and remain high until early Sunday morning.
