A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Arbroath.
River levels are high in this area as a result of snowmelt combined with todays rainfall. The Brothock Water is expected to remain high for the next 3 to 4 hours before slowly falling overnight. Localised flooding may occur around culverts in Arbroath particularly Hume Street, Brothock Bridge and Old Shore Road.There is also a risk to roads and industrial and residential properties in Dens Road Industrial Complex, Linsday Street, Lady Bridge and Marketgate areas.
