A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Findhorn Nairn Moray and Speyside. This Flood Alert is for coastal flooding. Communities on the Findhorn, Nairn, Moray and Speyside coast are expected to experience isolated flooding issues during periods of high tide early on Saturday morning and again on Saturday afternoon. Moderate to high waves have the potential to cause some spray and wave overtopping in these areas. Current forecasts indicate that waves will be slightly higher on Saturday afternoon. Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188. A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Findhorn Nairn Moray and Speyside. This alert is for surface water and river flooding. Further rain is expected on Wednesday overnight which will cause a risk of flooding to low-lying land and roads in the Spey catchment and from small watercourses. Wet road surfaces and ponding water may cause difficult driving conditions and traffic disruption. Wind debris such as fallen leaves may increase the risk of surface water flooding impacts due to blocked drains and culverts. A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Findhorn Nairn Moray and Speyside. Thunderstorms and heavy showers over night could lead to minor surface water flooding impacts, such as localised flooding of land and roads, travel disruption, and difficult driving conditions.
