River levels are rising at the Tempsford (Roxton) river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected. We expect flooding to affect the River Great Ouse from Wyboston to Earith, including Hen Brook, Fox Brook, Brampton Brook, Back Brook, Hall Green Brook, Parsons Drove Drain, Swavesey Drain and Wadsbys Folly. No further rainfall is forecast. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services. Please avoid contact with flood water and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.

River levels are falling at the Tempsford (Roxton) and St Ives river gauges however levels remain high further down the River Ouse as the peak moves downstream. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible. We expect flooding to affect River Great Ouse from Wyboston to Earith, including Hen Brook, Fox Brook, Brampton Brook, Back Brook, Hall Green Brook, Parsons Drove Drain, Swavesey Drain and Wadsbys Folly. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Further light showers are possible over the next few days, however we do not expect this to result in further river level rises. We are closely monitoring the situation.
