River levels on the Lower Colne and Frays River remain high, particularly in the Uxbridge and Cowley areas, as a result of heavy rainfall over the weekend. Further moderate rain is possible tomorrow, Tuesday 24 December. River levels are falling slowly, with flooding to roads and low lying land still possible. Flooding from surface water, where water gathers and flows off road surfaces, could also occur. We are continuing to closely monitor rainfall and river levels. Flooding of low lying land close to the river Colne is possible this evening, Friday 20 December and overnight into tomorrow morning.
