Eyemouth Coastal
A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Eyemouth Coastal. This warning is for the Eye Water and specifically Harbour Road in Eyemouth. The Eye Water will exceed the flood warning thresholds during Thursday morning. The heavy rainfall is forecast to ease off around lunchtime, but it will be well into the afternoon before levels peak at Eyemouth. There is a risk to low lying land and roads near to the Eye Water from Grantshouse to Eyemouth. Harbour Road in Eyemouth is the main area at risk from flooding. Businesses near to the harbour and vessels moored within the harbour may be at risk. For Information: Scottish Borders Councils nearest local sandbag store is located at the Fire Station on Coldingham Road in Eyemouth.
