River levels are steadily falling following recent heavy rainfall from Storm Henk. Flooding is expected. Areas most at risk are Hamerton Road, Willow Farm Close, Spires End, High Street and North Road in Alconbury Weston, Great North Road, Mill Road, Brookside, Sharps Lane, High Street and Rusts Lane in Alconbury, Low Road in Little Stukeley, Thrapston Road in Brampton. The forecast is for light rainfall today, then mostly dry for several days, which should allow river levels to continue falling. River levels will remain high downstream at Brampton racecourse whilst water continues to travel through the system. Install any property flood protection products you have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 4pm today, 03/01/2024.
