We expect flooding to affect Dry Drayton Road, The Broadway, Cambridge Road, Orchard Way, Longstanton Road, Mead View, The Drift, Lowbury Cresent, Water Lane, Kettles Close, Holme Close, Arcadia Gardens, Cherry Orchard and Station Road in Oakington and Oakington Road in Westwick No further rainfall is expected tonight. We expect river levels to start falling tonight. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water. River levels are rising at the Oakington river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible today 14/09/2021. We expect flooding to affect Dry Drayton Road, The Broadway, Cambridge Road, Orchard Way, Longstanton Road, Mead View, The Drift, Lowbury Cresent, Water Lane, Kettles Close, Holme Close, Arcadia Gardens, Cherry Orchard and Station Road in Oakington and Oakington Road in Westwick Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours. We expect river levels to continue rising this afternoon. Property owners with individual property resilience are advised to install it now. We are closely monitoring the situation.
