Heavy rain over the past week in the River Welland catchment has fallen onto already saturated ground. This has caused the River Welland to rise. Low lying areas near to the River Welland are already flooded. No significant further rainfall is forecast. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. River Welland
Heavy rain has fallen in the Welland catchment over the past few days. This has caused the River Welland to rise. Low lying areas near to the River Welland are already flooded. Further rainfall is forecast for overnight tonight (Thursday 4th Jan) into tomorrow morning which will cause river levels to remain high. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings.
