River levels are rising at the Higham Avenue river gauge as a result of Storm Christoph and are currently very high. Consequently, flooding of property is possible, and levels will remain high throughout today, 21/01/2021. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties between Callands Road and Sankey Brook. We are closely monitoring the situation and will issue further flood warnings if necessary. River levels are rising as a result of heavy rainfall and are expected to remain high until Friday. Consequently, flooding for properties between Callands Road and Sankey Brook. is possible today, Wednesday 20th January. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue further flood warnings if necessary.
