Consequently, flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland is expected today, 16/02/2020, with a possibility of flooding to properties along New Road, Winsford Bridge and the Marina. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue further flood warnings if necessary. River levels are rising at the Ashbrook river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall from Storm Dennis. Consequently, flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland is expected today, 16/02/2020, with a possibility of flooding to properties along New Road, Winsford Bridge and the Marina. Flood warning thresholds will be reached between 2pm and 3pm this afternoon and river levels are expected to peak at 3.55m between 6pm and 10pm this evening. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue further flood warnings if necessary. Prolonged rainfall over Cheshire has caused river levels on the Weaver Navigation to rise above the flood warning level. Rain is expected to ease through Wednesday morning (12th June) but river levels will continue to rise through the day. A further band of rain is expected to move in from the east this evening. Flooding to property on Station Road, Winsford is expected. We will continue to monitor the situation through the day and will issue further updates if required.

Prolonged rainfall over Cheshire has caused river levels to rise. Rain is expected to ease through Wednesday morning (12th June) but river levels will continue to rise through the day. A further area of rain is expected to move in from the east this evening.
