Flooding of property is expected at Fiddlers Ferry area from 1:00 PM on 09/02/2024 We are expecting higher than normal tides over the next 2 days and as a result we may issue further alerts or warnings.  Our incident rooms are on standby and we are closely monitoring the situation.  We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities.  Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.  This message will be updated by 04:00 PM on 09/04/2024, or as the situation changes.

Strong winds and spring tides may cause large waves and spray overtopping on the coast this morning. Flooding is affecting the Fiddlers Ferry area between 11:15 AM and 12:30 PM on 04/12/2021. Weather conditions are expected to produce large onshore waves. After this tide‚ the weather is more settled and no further impacts are expected. Waves are forecast to overtop coastal defences at the Fiddlers Ferry area. Please stay away from beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as the expected large waves and sea spray will be dangerous.
