This Flood warning has been updated due to a small increase to the Forecast peak levels at Fiddlers Ferry. The high tide is expected to be higher than usual at the Mersey Estuary at Fiddlers Ferry as a result of high spring tides. Consequently flooding is expected between 02:00 and 02:30 tomorrow morning, 01/10/19, levels are now expected to peak at around 7.08m. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for the Fiddlers Ferry area. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue (further) flood warnings if necessary. Please be aware of your surroundings and keep up to date with the current situation. This message will be updated tomorrow or as the situation changes.

River levels are forecast to rise at the Fiddlers Ferry river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland is possible between 02:00 and 02:30 tomorrow, 01/10/19 with levels expected to peak at 6.92 meters. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for the Fiddlers Ferry area. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue (further) flood warnings if necessary. Consequently flooding of property is possible between 01:15am and 01:45am tomorrow, 30/09/19. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for the Fiddlers Ferry area. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue further flood warnings if necessary. This warning is in place for Fiddlers Ferry with tides at their highest between 13:30 and 14:00 today, 4th January 2018. Flooding to properties is likely between these times. Be aware of your local surroundings and remain safe. There may be localised standing water on roads. Do not drive through flood water. The following high tide at midnight on the 5th January is not expected to reach flood warning levels, but is expected to reach flood alert levels. Detailed tidal information for those who use it; The forecast high tide level at Fiddlers Ferry is 6.8 mAOD. Be aware of your local surroundings and remain safe.
