Storm Eunice is forecast to bring strong winds, large waves and spray overtopping on the coast. Flooding is possible at low lying land and roads from Hilbre Island and along the coast from West Kirby to Heswall between 11:45 am and 12:45 PM today, 18/02/2022. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue flood warnings if necessary. Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 19/02/2022, or as the situation changes.
