River levels currently remain high. They are beginning to fall across the area, but still pose a flood risk, particularly for low lying land and roads. Further rainfall is forecast this afternoon (Friday 02/08/2019) and river levels could respond as a result of this. We are closely monitoring the forecasts for the weekend, particularly for Sunday and Monday where further heavy forecast is forecast. Our incident response staff are liaising with partner agencies in places where flooding has occurred. Please be aware of your surroundings and keep up to date with the current situation.
