Consequently flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland is expected/possible between 03:00 and 04:00 on Sunday 4th August 2019. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land in the following places: Fiddlers Ferry between 03:00 and 03:30, Eastford Road between 03:15 and 03:45 and Arpley Bridge between 03:30 and 04:00 It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue (further) flood alerts Please be aware of your surroundings and keep up to date with the current situation. High tides are forecast for the River Mersey Estary tonight, 03/08/19, consequently levels may rise above the flood alert level. This may result in flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for the Fiddlers Ferry area between 01:15 and 01:45 peaking at 6.22 Metres, Eastford Road between 01:30 and 02:00 peaking at 6.37 Metres and Arpley Bridge between 01:45 and 02:15, peaking at 6.42 Metres. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out in the area and will relay information and assist the emergency services and council and closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue (further) flood warnings if necessary. Please be aware of your surroundings and keep up to date with the current situation and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Consequently flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland is expected between 13:45 and 15:45. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land in the following places: Fiddlers Ferry between 14:00 and 14:30, peak level 6.2m, Eastford Road between 14:30 and 15:00, peak level 6.4m and Arpley Bridge between 14:30 and 15:00, peak level 6.4m. It is possible that river levels will affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge. We are not expecting subsequent high tides to reach flood alert / warning levels. Eastford Road between 03:00am and 03:45am with the river peaking at 6.34m. Arpley Bridge between 03:15am and 04:00am with the river peaking at 6.39m.
