A series of high tides will result in river levels in Warrington reaching Flood Alert thresholds on overnight tides between Friday 15th and Monday 19th November. Daytime tides will be close to, but are not expected to reach, Flood Alert thresholds. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible, property flooding is not expected. For the next high tide, flooding is possible at the following locations: Fiddlers Ferry between 00:00 AM on 17/11/2024 and 01:00 AM on 17/11/2024 Eastford Road between 00:15 AM on 17/11/2024 and 01:15 AM on 17/11/2024 Arpley Bridge between 00:30 AM on 17/11/2024 and 01:30 AM on 17/11/2024 Areas most at risk include low lying land and roads at Fiddlers Ferry, Eastford Road, Arpley Bridge and Knutsford Road. It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge. Be careful along coastal footpaths and low-lying roads as these may be flooded. Daytime tides will be close to, but are not expected to reach, Flood Alert thresholds. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible, property flooding is not expected. Areas most at risk include low lying land and roads at Fiddlers Ferry, Eastford Road, Arpley Bridge and Knutsford Road. It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge. Be careful along coastal footpaths and low-lying roads as these may be flooded. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will update these messages throughout the weekend. The next update will be on Saturday 16th November, before 17:00 PM.

Flooding is possible at low lying lands and roads from 01:30 AM on 11/04/2024 at the following locations: Fiddlers Ferry, peaking between 02:00 – 03:00 AM. Eastford Road, peaking between 02:15 – 03:15 AM. Arpley Bridge, peaking between 02:30 – 03:30 AM. It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge.     We are expecting higher than normal tides over the next 2 days and as a result we may issue further alerts or warnings.  Our incident rooms are on standby and we are closely monitoring the situation.  We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities.  Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.  This message will be updated by 10:00 AM on 11/04/2024, or as the situation changes.

The high tide is expected to be higher than usual, due to high spring tides. Consequently flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland is possible today through to this evening (27/11/19). We believe there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land and roads in the following places: Fiddlers Ferry between 12:15 and 12:45 with a peak of 6.3m Eastford Road between 12:15 and 12:45 with a peak of 6.4m Arpley Bridge between 12:30 and 13.00 with a peak of 6.4m It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge. Flood alerts may also be required for subsequent high tides. We are closely monitoring the situation. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land and roads in the following places: Fiddlers Ferry between 23:45 and 12:15am with a peak of 6.3m, Eastford Road between midnight and 12:30am with a peak of 6.4m, Arpley Bridge between 12:15am and 12:45am with a peak of 6.4m. It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge. Flood alerts may also be required for subsequent high tides. Consequently flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland is possible tomorrow daytime (26/11/19) through to Wednesday afternoon (27/11/9). We believe there is a possibility of flooding for low lying land and roads in the following places tomorrow daytime (26/11/19): Fiddlers Ferry between 11:30 and 12:00, Eastford Road between 11:45 and 12:15 and Arpley Bridge between 12:00 and 12:30 It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge. Flood alerts may also be required for subsequent high tides on Tuesday evening and Wednesday daytime. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the situation.
