Flooding is expected later this evening Monday 1 February and into the early hours of Tuesday. River levels have dropped throughout the day, but are expected to rise again in response to the forecast rainfall this evening. A band of heavy rainfall is now tracking across the area from the west, which is due to clear by 11pm. River levels are expected to respond and rise above Flood Warning criteria. Peak river level is expected around midnight and will continue to remain high for several hours. Flooding is expected to properties, low lying land and roads close to the river. Take care near the areas of concern and monitor local conditions. We are monitoring river levels and have staff in the area checking for and clearing blockages. This message will be updated on Tuesday morning or earlier if the situation changes.

Further flooding is expected during this evening Monday 1 February and into the early hours of Tuesday morning. River levels are now dropping but are expected to rise again in response to forecast rainfall from 6pm until midnight. Further heavy frontal rainfall is expected from the west this afternoon, which will push river levels back above Flood Warning criteria. Levels are predicted to be higher than those observed during the last 24 hours. Peak water level is expected at 3am. Flooding is expected to properties, low lying land and roads close to the river. Take care near the areas of concern and monitor local conditions. We are monitoring river levels and have staff in the area checking for and clearing blockages. Rainfall intensity has now reduced, but river levels will remain above Flood Warning thresholds until the early hours of Monday morning. Flooding is expected today Sunday 31 January. Some high intensity rainfall has passed the area which has pushed river levels past flood warning criteria. River levels remain high as ground is saturated. Further intense rainfall is expected throughout the day and rivers are likely to respond. River levels are expected to peak at 5pm. Flooding is possible to properties, low lying land and roads close to the river. Take care near the areas of concern and monitor local conditions. Following heavy and persistent rain, the River Cober has now met Flood Warning criteria. River levels are continuing to rise. Further rain is forecast early on Monday morning. Catchments are saturated and river levels are expected to remain high throughout Monday. Areas of concerns are Trenear Village, Poldark Mine and the B3297. We will be closely monitoring the situation and have workers in the field to relay information and assist the emergency services and local authority.
