Flood Warning Info - River Fowey from Trekeivesteps to Restormel

Flooding is expected on the afternoon of Thursday 7th December, and into the evening. Heavy rain falling in the area over Thursday daytime has caused the River Fowey to rise, and the river is forecast to continue rising through the day. Riverside properties at Trekeivesteps, Trago Mills, Parkway Timber, Lanhydrock and Lostwithiel will start to flood first from around 3.30pm today. River levels will be at their highest between 4pm and 6pm. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. We will be closely monitoring the situation throughout the day.
