Flooding is possible overnight on Tuesday 15th October and into Wednesday. An area of persistent rain with heavy and thundery bursts at times will arrive from the south from early this evening. The highest rainfall totals are expected on south facing slopes of higher ground but there is a risk of bands of more prolonged, intense rainfall anywhere in the area overnight and throughout the morning.
Following recent rainfall, catchments are wet. Rivers are expected to rise before midnight and remain high overnight into Wednesday morning, leading to flooding of low lying land and roads. Some areas may see surface water flooding. Weather conditions are expected to improve during Wednesday.

Flooding is possible on Sunday the 25th of February and overnight into Monday 26th of February. Recent rainfall has caused the rivers to rise. Expected levels suggest there will be flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river this afternoon and into the early hours of Monday morning.
The Met Office has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for heavy rain in force until midnight, with forecast rainfall of 15 - 25 mm widely, and up to 60 mm in some locations. With saturated ground, rivers are expected to respond quickly to this rainfall.

Flooding is possible during the afternoon of Wednesday 21st February, and into the evening. Over the last 24 hours we have seen heavy rainfall and river levels are still rising. Further heavy rain is forecast to clear the area during this afternoon, but river levels are expected to peak during the evening and remain high. There may be flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river.
A further organised band of rain is forecast for Thursday 22nd of February that may be heavy and persistent, meaning river levels will remain high.

Flooding is possible over Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Heavy rain is forecast from Tuesday evening and into Wednesday, and river levels are expected to rise overnight.
The Met Office has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for heavy rain with forecast rainfall of 20-45 mm widely, and up to 70 mm over higher ground. With saturated ground, rivers are expected to respond quickly to this rainfall.
Expected river levels will result in flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river from the early hours of Wednesday morning until Wednesday evening. The main areas of concern are low lying areas including Polson Bridge, Horsebridge, Gunnislake, Lifton, and Sydenham. We expect the river to remain high until Wednesday evening.

Over the last 24 hours we have seen heavy rainfall in the Tamar catchment and while water levels have stabilised in the upper catchment, water levels in the River Tamar at Polson Bridge continue to rise.
Expected levels suggest that there will be flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river. We expect the river to remain high for the next 24 hours, though no flooding to properties is currently forecast.

A further bands of heavy rain is forecast from late afternoon on the 26th and into 27th and a Met Office Weather Warning remains in force for Wednesday 27th December. This may lead to additional flood alerts and possibly flood warnings being issued.

River levels on the Tamar rose after overnight rain. Further persistent rain is forecast in North Cornwall and West Devon, today and Monday 25th. The rain may be heavy at times, especially Monday afternoon.
With bands of rain throughout the next 3 day Christmas period, river levels will remain high and as the peak moves downstream, the Middle Tamar is forecast to rise above Flood Alert levels. This may result in flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river.

Overnight widespread rainfall resulted in totals over 40mm with intense rain of more than 80 mm over high ground. This has led to rivers rising rapidly and flooding to low lying land and roads close to rivers. While River levels are currently peaking they remain high ahead of rainfall forecast for this evening and in to the early hours of Saturday morning. Flooding is possible this evening, Thursday 28th October, and into Friday due to persistent and heavy rainfall crossing the area. Following unsettled weather over the past week, catchments are saturated and rivers are likely to respond quickly to the forecast rainfall.
Widespread rainfall totals of 20-30 mm are expected. Intense rain could result in totals of up to 50 mm, increasing to 70 mm over high ground. This may cause flooding to low lying land and roads close to rivers. Flood warnings may be issued for some locations.
The most persistent rain is expected to ease during Friday before further outbreaks of rain spread in from the west during the evening and into Saturday. River levels are likely to remain high during this time.

Scattered showers are forecast for today. We do not expect the river levels to respond to this rain.

Flooding is possible tonight, Wednesday 20th October, and into Thursday morning. River levels are rising following this evening’s heavy rainfall. High river levels on the upper River Ottery have triggered this Flood Alert being issued for the Middle River Tamar.
This may result in flooding to low lying land and roads close to rivers tonight and into Thursday morning. However, flooding to properties is not currently expected.
The heavy rain currently falling is forecast to ease by midnight to be followed by heavy showers through Thursday morning. Rivers are expected to remain high through this period.

Showers and then frontal rain will arrive from the west on Sunday evening, with a second band of rain on Monday. Wednesday is expected to see further heavy rainfall as a low pressure crosses the UK. While total rainfall and intensity are less than Friday, rivers may rise quickly where heavy rain falls.

Currently water levels in the River Tamar and the surrounding rivers have dropped following Thursdays heavy rain. Patchy rain through Friday will continue into Saturday 15th February. This afternoon, 15mm of rain, blown in by strong southerly winds, has fallen widely over Cornwall. The forecast is for 30-40mm falling this evening and overnight. Rainfall totals up to 70mm are expected on higher ground of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.
The ground is saturated and river levels are responding. Flooding of low lying land and roads is possible due to the further rainfall. The main area of concern is the River Ottery.
