Irish Sea, Morecambe Bay
Large and powerful waves are expected to affect the foreshore as a result of high spring tides and strong winds. Tides will be at their highest between 11:00 and 15:00 today 11/02/2020. Tonight's tide is not expected to reach Flood Warning however a Flood Alert remains in force. Tides will be at their highest between 23:00 11/02/2020 and 03:00 12/02/2020. Flooding to properties/roads and farmland is possible. Conditions may apply two to four hours either side of the high tide. Areas affected will be Roa Island, Rampside, A5087 coast road, Aldingham, South Ulverston, Canal Foot, Greenodd, Cark, West Plain Farm, Grange-over-Sands, Meathop, Milnthorpe, B5282 coast road, Sandside and Arnside. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are closing flood gates. Please be careful along beaches, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. This message will be updated this afternoon 11/02/2020, or as the situation changes.

Large and powerful waves are expected to overtop sea defences as a result of high spring tides. Tides will be at their highest tonight between 23.15 hours on 30 September 2019 and 03.15 hours on 1 October 2019, flooding to properties, roads and farmland is expected between these times. Roa Island, Rampside, A5087 coast road, Aldingham, South Ulverston, Canal Foot, Greenodd, Cark, West Plain Farm, Grange-over-Sands, Meathop, Milnthorpe, B5282 coast road, Sandside and Arnside areas are at risk. Coastal conditions are expected to continue with tomorrow's midday tide expected to reach Flood Alert levels. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid using low lying coastal footpaths and roads. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 01/10/2019, or as the situation changes

The high tide at lunchtime today, Monday 30/09/19, for this area of the coast is not expected to reach flood warning level. The warning remains in place because the forecast for the high tide overnight Monday into Tuesday is expected to exceed the alert threshold and is currently forecast to reach Flood Warning level. Flooding to properties, roads and farmland is possible as a result. Roa Island, Rampside, A5087 coast road, Aldingham, South Ulverston, Canal Foot, Greenodd, Cark, West Plain Farm, Grange-over-Sands, Meathop, Milnthorpe, B5282 coast road, Sandside and Arnside areas are at risk. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid using low lying coastal footpaths and roads. This message will be updated this afternoon.

Tides will be at their highest between 22:45 hours today and 02:45 hours tomorrow, flooding to properties, roads and farmland is expected between these times. Roa Island, Rampside, A5087 coast road, Aldingham, South Ulverston, Canal Foot, Greenodd, Cark, West Plain Farm, Grange-over-Sands, Meathop, Milnthorpe, B5282 coast road, Sandside and Arnside areas are at risk. Coastal conditions are expected to continue with tomorrow's lunch time tide expected to reach Flood Alert levels. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid using low lying coastal footpaths and roads. Irish Sea, Morecambe Bay
A Flood Warning is in force for the high tide at 23:37 at Barrow and 23:31 at Heysham on 03/10/2018, high tides may cause onshore flooding to roads, low lying land and some properties along the coast. People are warned to avoid walking or driving through water in these areas and to stay away from the coast. The tide is forecast to peak between midnight and 01:00 a.m Wednesday morning. We forecast that the astronomical tide of 4.93m AOD at Barrow will have an additional surge of 1.25 metres and the astronomical tide of 5.24m AOD at Heysham will have an additional surge of 1.25 metres. High water can be expected for 2 hours before and after the peak. For conversion between AoD and local chart or port datums please check tide tables. Locations likely to be affected are Roosebeck, Canal Foot, East Plain Farm, Arnside, Sandside. We are currently forecasting that the high tide at 11:59 at Barrow and the high tide at 12:29 at Heysham on 03/01/2018 will be above Flood Alert levels.
