River Derwent
River levels have risen at the Seaton Mill river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding is possible. Flooding is expected to affect residential properties and farms immediately adjacent to the River Derwent at Camerton village including Camerton Hall.
We expect river levels to remain high throughout the rest of today (28/10/21) and into tomorrow.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences.
Please avoid using low lying roads and footpaths near rivers.

River levels are high and forecast to rise further on the River Derwent due to heavy rainfall. Areas most at risk include residential and commercial properties. Flooding is possible on 28/10/2021. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of today keeping river levels high throughout the catchment. We will continue to monitor levels closely.
