Dragley Beck, Lund Beck
River levels have risen at the Fitz Bridge river gauge as a result of localised thunderstorms. Consequently, flooding of property is possible for the next few hours today, 11/08/2020. Flooding is expected to affect low lying areas and property adjacent to Dragley and Lund Becks at South Ulverston, including Steel Street, North Lonsdale Road, Cross Lane and Kennedy Street areas. We expect river levels to remain high until lunchtime, 11/08/2020. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid contact with flood water.
