River levels are high and forecast to rise further on Windermere due to heavy rainfall.
Flooding is expected at low lying commercial and residential properties, camping, caravan sites and leisure facilities on the shores of Windermere from 04:00 PM on 28/10/2021. Further light rainfall is forecast this afternoon and lake levels are expected to rise steadily at the Far Sawrey gauge. We will continue to monitor levels closely.
