River levels are rising at the Marston river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall and snowmelt. Consequently, flooding of property and roads is expected this evening, 06/01/2025 and overnight into Tuesday morning, 07/01/2025. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Marston on Dove area including all properties on Marston Lane. No further significant rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours, however we expect river levels to continue rising tonight, 06/01/2025 and into Tuesday, 07/01/2025. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 10:00 on 07/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
