River levels have risen at the Mytham Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible to begin from around 05:00 today, 16/02/2020. Areas most at risk are Chatsworth, including Chatsworth Park Caravan Site. Further significant rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to rise until around 06:00 on 16/02/2020. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents. This message will be updated in 12 hours, or as the situation changes.

River levels are rising at the Chatsworth river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property/roads and farmland is imminent. Areas most at risk are Chatsworth, including Chatsworth Park Caravan Site. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 3 hours. We expect river levels to remain high during this morning (08/11/19). We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and patrolling watercourses in the area. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers.
