Heavy rain will continue to fall in the South Devon area. This is causing river levels to remain high. Properties and low lying land downstream of Harbertonford will remain at risk. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Heavy rain falling in the South Devon area has caused river levels to rise and flooding is expected. The River Harbourne is continuing to rise and flooding of properties and low lying land downstream of Harbertonford is forecasted from 3pm this afternoon and is predicted to peak around 10pm this evening. Water levels are expected to be high for the rest of the weekend. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. Residents are strongly urged to take action now.
