River Teign
Flooding is expected throughout Sunday, 24th November. Heavy rain has been falling in the South Devon area throughout the weekend and will continue on Sunday. This is causing the River Teign to rise and the river is forecast to continue rising through the day. Properties and low lying areas around Clifford Bridge, including the camping and caravan site, Dunsford, including The Mill and adjacent properties Bridford Mills, Christow Bridge, Lower Ashton and Crocombe Bridge will start to flood first. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. We will be closely monitoring the situation, and this message will be updated if the situation changes.
