River Culm
High river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning. Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 . Heavy rain has fallen in the area overnight and more is forecast throughout the day. Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 7AM on Tuesday. The main areas of concern are Culmstock and Uffculme. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 06:00am and 06:00pm. We are closely monitoring the situation . Activate any flood protection products you may have . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 4:00PM on 27 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
