High river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning.
Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 .
Heavy rain falling in the area will continue throughout the day.
Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 07:30AM on Tuesday. The main areas of concern are Brook Street, Briton Street, Bridge Terrace and the New Buildings and Mill Area. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 07:30AM and 10AM.

Flooding is expected on Sunday night 25/02/24 and into Monday morning.
Heavy rain has fallen in the area. This is causing the River Batherm to rise and the river is forecast to continue rising and is currently forecast to peak at 23:15 on the 25/02/24
