Continuing high river levels mean flooding remains possible today and overnight into 28 January. Heavy rain has fallen throughout Monday and into Tuesday and further showers are possible. Catchments are saturated and rivers are expected to remain high. Properties and low lying areas remain at risk, particularly in Clyst Honiton. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. River Clyst
High river levels are expected to cause flooding today. Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 . Heavy rain falling in the area will continue throughout the day. Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 7:30AM on Tuesday. The main areas of concern are Clyst Honiton. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. River levels are likely to remain high throughout the morning. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car . Activate any flood protection products you may have.
