Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today. Flooding is expected on 09 December 2025 . Heavy rain falling in the area will continue throughout the day. Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around midday today. The main areas of concern are the Bull Ring area of Ashburton town centre, Chuley Road, Church Path, Old Totnes Road & Stonepath Crescent. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Activate any flood protection products you may have . This message will be updated by 8:00PM on 09 December 2025 or as the situation changes.

Flooding is expected on Sunday. Heavy rain falling in the Ashburton area will continue throughout Sunday. This is causing the River Ashburn to rise and the river is forecast to continue rising through the day. Properties and low lying areas will be affected. There is the possibility of flooding to properites within the Bull Ring area of Ashburton town centre, Chuley Road, Church Path, Old Totnes Road & Stonepath Crescent.
