Flooding continues to remain possible throughout the day, Tuesday 14/05/2024. We saw heavy rain fall across the River Axe catchment yesterday causing river levels to rise. River levels in the area have reached their highest and are starting to fall below levels of concern. Levels at Weycroft are still high but dropping, whereas levels in the wider catchment are clear of flood risk. Levels at Weycroft suggest that there will still be flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river. There may be standing water present throughout the catchment.
