Flood Alert issued on 14 Dec 2019 01:39
River Taw, River Okement
River levels in the catchment are showing a slow rise in reaction to rainfall throughout the day and evening. Most rain has now cleared the catchments but river levels are still rising and the criteria for this flood alert has now been met. Further showers are expected on Saturday morning around 6am and should move through quickly. The saturated nature of the catchments means that river levels are likely to react to this and could increase further. The Environment Agency will continue to monitor river levels and will update this message at 9am on Saturday morning
