River Walkham
High river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. Flooding is expected on 09 December 2025 . Heavy rain is falling in the area and river levels are rising rapidly. Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 3.30am. The main areas of concern are properties and low lying areas around Fillace Lane, Chapel Lane and the Recreation Ground at Horrabridge. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 3am and 5am. We are closely monitoring the situation . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . This message will be updated by 3:00PM on 09 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
