Flooding is expected over the morning high tides on Monday 11th March and Tuesday 12th March. High water at Plymouth is at 06:24 on Monday morning and 07:07 on Tuesday morning. Times of high water will vary along the coast. High spring tides coinciding with low pressure and moderate north-westerly winds on Monday morning could result in dangerous conditions on the coast, with overtopping of low-lying land and quaysides expected and property flooding possible within 1-2 hours either side of high tide. Expect tides to be around 100mm higher than predicted due to weather conditions. Locations particularly at risk include Notter Bridge, Embankment Rd Plymouth, Torpoint Ferry Terminals and Noss Mayo. Take care near coastal paths and promenades. There may be localised standing water. Do not drive through flood water or waves. We are monitoring the situation and will issue daily updates if the situation changes. Flooding is expected over the morning high tide on Monday 12th February.  High water at Plymouth is at 07:27 on Monday morning. Times of high water will vary along the coast.  A significant high spring tide is expected due to a low-pressure system and will be accompanied by Force 4 north-westerly winds and wave heights exceeding 1m. This is expected to be the highest tide of this series and could result in significant overtopping of low-lying land and quaysides, and property flooding possible 1-2 hours either side of high tide. Expect tides to be around 230mm higher than predicted due to weather conditions. Please take action to protect yourself and your property and monitor local weather conditions. Locations particularly at risk include Notter Bridge, Embankment Road Plymouth, Torpoint Ferry Terminals and Noss Mayo. We are monitoring the situation and will issue daily updates if the situation changes.  Detailed tidal information for those who use it; The forecast high tide level at Newlyn on Sunday morning is 3.00m AOD, this is 0.23m above astronomical tide level.

Flooding is expected for Fowey, Looe and Seaton over the morning high tides on Saturday 10th, Monday 12th, and Tuesday 13th of February.   High water at Plymouth is at 05:58 on Saturday morning. Times of high water will vary along the coast.   A significant tidal surge is expected due to low pressure, and will be accompanied by Force 6 southerly winds and wave heights up to 2.5m on Saturday morning. This could result in dangerous conditions on the coast, with overtopping of low-lying land and quaysides expected and property flooding possible within 1-2 hours either side of high tide. Expect tides to be around 500mm higher than predicted due to weather conditions. Locations particularly at risk include Notter Bridge, Embankment Road Plymouth, Torpoint Ferry Terminals and Noss Mayo. Large waves and spray are likely so take care near coastal paths and promenades. This may cause localised standing water on roads. Do not drive through flood water or waves. Flooding is expected over the high tide on Monday evening 30 Oct so this Flood Warning remains in force. Time of high water at Plymouth is at 18:37, local time. Tide levels this evening are not expected to be as high as those seen over the weekend. From Wednesday however, conditions at the coast are expected to deteriorate due to strong winds and large waves associated with Storm Ciaran. Therefore please continue to monitor your local weather conditions and take care in the areas of concern. Times of high water will vary along the coast. Flooding may occur up to 2 hours either side of high tide. Expect tides ~ 600mm higher than predicted due to weather conditions. Moderate waves & spray are likely. Take care near the coast.  Do not drive through flood water or waves. Forecast levels for Sunday evening are similar to Saturday evening when flooding was observed in several locations. Offshore wave heights up to 5m combined with Force 6 – 7 winds may exacerbate any flooding.   High water at Plymouth is 17:57 Sunday & 06:18 Monday, local time. Times of high water will vary along the coast. Flooding may occur up to 2 hours either side of high tide. Expect tides ~ 600mm higher than predicted due to weather conditions. Moderate waves and spray are likely. Take care near the coast. There may be localised standing water on roads.  Do not drive through flood water or waves. Sutton Harbour Tidal Gates are closed. Expect tides ~ 500mm higher than predicted due to weather conditions. Moderate waves & spray are likely. Take care near the coast. Force 8 Southerly winds and offshore wave heights of up to 4.5m are forecast to cause flooding to properties. Conditions may apply two hours either side of the high tide. Expect tides to be around 450mm higher than predicted due to weather conditions. Locations particularly at risk include Notter Bridge, Embankment Road Plymouth, Torpoint Ferry Terminals and Noss Mayo. Large waves and spray are likely so take care near coastal paths and promenades. Heavy rain is forecast over high tide which may lead to localised surface water flooding due to tide locking. Flooding is expected over the high tide this afternoon, Sunday 15 November. High Spring tides, strong winds and large waves, exceeding 4m, are expected to cause property flooding in low lying or exposed locations. High water at Plymouth this afternoon is at 17:41. Times of high water will vary along the coast. Unsettled weather is forecast and will bring force 6 westerly winds, Due to the forecast weather conditions the tides could be 320mm higher than published, resulting in wave overtopping and sea spray in exposed locations. Locations particularly at risk are Notter Bridge, Embankment Road Plymouth, Torpoint Ferry Terminals. Following this evening’s high water, tide levels will drop over the next few days. However, weather will remain unsettled with large waves and strong winds expected. We will continue to monitor the situation, and will update this information on Monday morning or if the situation changes

High Spring tides, strong winds and large waves exceeding 4m are expected to cause property flooding in low lying or exposed locations during Sunday. High water at Plymouth is 05:20 and 17:41. Times of high water will vary along the coast. Unsettled weather is forecast and will bring force 7 west south westerly winds veering west north westerly, increasing to force 8 during Sunday. Large waves are also expected, causing tides to be 350mm higher than published, resulting in wave overtopping and seaspray. Locations particularly at risk are Notter Bridge, Embankment Road Plymouth, Torpoint Ferry Terminals. People are advised to avoid low lying and exposed areas. There may be localised standing water on roads. Do not drive through flood water or waves. Flooding of low lying or exposed locations is also possible on Thursday and Friday. High water at Plymouth on Thursday evening is at 19:46. Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide. Times of high water will vary along the coast. Storm Ellen is forecast to bring force 6 Southerly winds and large waves, causing tides to be higher than predicted along the coast, with wave overtopping and sea spray in exposed locations. Locations particularly at risk include Notter Bridge, Embankment Road Plymouth, Torpoint Ferry Terminals and Noss Mayo. High numbers of visitors in locations that may flood brings an increased risk.
