We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Dorchester Road and Frome Lane area of Maiden Newton We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing weed screens. Please can owners with property flood resilience equipment install it now and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers which may be flooded and refer to local authority website for local road closures. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Dorchester Road and Frome Lane area of Maiden Newton Further showery rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours which may cause river levels to respond again. River levels are falling, but still pose a flood risk. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in contact with community flood wardens and volunteers. River Levels at Maiden Newton on the upper River Frome are rising in response to overnight rainfall and have now exceeded Flood Warning levels. Rainfall is starting to slowly clear the area but levels are predicted to rise further.
