Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Middle Dorset Stour, Lower Dorset Stour, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Hammoon, Bere Marsh, Stourpaine, Durweston and Lower Blandford St Mary. River levels are expected to remain high and flooding of properties may continue. No further rainfall is forecast. River levels are remaining high, but the risk of flooding to properties remains. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities. We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this warning if necessary. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. River levels remain high but are beginning to fall on the Middle Dorset Stour, Lower Dorset Stour. Areas most at risk include Hammoon, Bere Marsh, Stourpaine, Durweston and Lower Blandford St Mary. River levels are expected to remain high this morning and flooding of properties may continue. No further rainfall is forecast for 24 hours. River levels will start to fall, but the risk of flooding to properties remains. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities. We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this warning if necessary. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. No further rainfall is forecast, however river levels are rising rapidly. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. Consider activating any property flood protection products. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so. Avoid driving on low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Roads in the Manston and Hammoon area are badly affected. No further rainfall is forecast however river levels are high and forecast to rise further. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. Consider activating any property flood protection products. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Plan driving routes to avoid the Hammoon road as the gates are locked closed as the road has been affected by flooding. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Middle Dorset Stour, Lower Dorset Stour, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Hammoon, Bere Marsh, Stourpaine, Durweston and Lower Blandford St Mary. Flooding is expected at Hammoon, Bere Marsh, Stourpaine, Durweston and Lower Blandford St Mary from 02:15 PM on 21/10/2021. No further rainfall is forecast for the next 24 hours. River levels are high and forecast to rise further. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. River levels remain high but are beginning to fall at the Hammoon river gauge as a result of Storm Dennis. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Hammoon, Bere Marsh, Stourpaine, Durweston and Lower Blandford St Mary Further showery rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels are falling, but still pose a flood risk. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in contact with community flood wardens and volunteers. Please avoid using bridges over local watercourses. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 18/02/20, or as the situation changes.

Areas most at risk are Hammoon, Bere Marsh, Stourpaine, Durweston and Lower Blandford St Mary. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are checking defences. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and consider installing property flood resilience equipment. River levels have risen at the Hammoon river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads, farmland and property is possible in the early morning of Sunday 16/02/2020. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Hammoon, Bere Marsh, Stourpaine, Durweston and Lower Blandford St Mary. The road between Manston and Hammoon is flooded and impassable to all traffic, and will remain so for some time. Further heavy persistent rainfall is forecast overnight and into Sunday. We expect river levels to remain high for the coming days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please stay aware in case further warnings are issued.
