River levels remain high but are beginning to fall on the Upper Dorset Stour, Shreen Water.
Areas most at risk include Eccliffe, parts of the A30, Stour Provost, Sturminster Newton, Hammoon and parts of the A361, A362, A357, A365, A363, A358, A359, A364, A360.
The forecast is dry for the next 24 hours.
River levels will start to fall, but the risk of flooding to roads remains.
We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this warning if necessary.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.

River levels are rising on the River Stour due to heavy rainfall.
Flooding is forecast to affect low lying land in the Eccliffe, West Stour and Hammoon areas. The gates at Hammoon will remain shut until at least mid day on Thursday.
Flooding of property is possible from 01:00 AM on 21/10/2021.
Rainfall has now cleared the area.
We will continue to monitor levels closely.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your surroundings.
