River levels have risen on the River Yeo due to heavy rainfall on Saturday night. The river level at the Pen Mill gauge peaked at 1:45 PM on Sunday and will remain high today. Areas at risk include South Street, Ludborne Road and Sherborne Sewage Treatment Works in Sherborne and the Mole Valley Farmers area on the Sherborne Road near Yeovil. The forecast is predominantly dry for the remainder of Sunday. We expect river levels to fall during this period. We will continue to monitor levels and the weather forecast closely, and staff are checking rivers in the area.
