River Tees
River levels on the River Tees at Croft river gauge remain high but are predicted to begin to fall overnight. This flood warning remains in place but it is expected to be removed tomorrow.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
We are closely monitoring the situation.

River Tees
River levels are rising on the River Tees at the Croft river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall caused by Storm Ciara. Rainfall is forecast to clear from lunchtime today, 09/02/2020. We expect river levels on the River Tees to continue to respond into this afternoon in response to the heavy rainfall.
Property flooding is expected at Linden Court, Baxby Terrace, Linden Drive, Hurworth Road and Tees View (A167), at Hurworth Place. Also the Caravan Park at Newbus Grange.
We expect river levels to remain high for the rest of today, 09/02/2020. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. We are closely monitoring the situation.
