The level of the River Solfach at Solva is currently below the flood warning threshold, but additional rain, expected to reach the west of Pembrokeshire by 1:00 PM will produce an additional flood peak this evening. The flood storage reservoir at Pont-Y-Cerbyd is currently at capacity and therefore any additional inflows from the upper catchment will receive no attenuation. A band of heavy rain is forecast to reach west Pembrokeshire by 1:00 PM and this rain will continue to fall until 7:00 PM on Friday the 9th of November.
