This Flood Warning is for the evening tide on Wednesday 11th March. The winds are forecast to be force four on the beaufort scale from a westerly direction. Offshore waves are expected to be moderate. High tide at Barmouth is expected to occur at approximately 09:45 PM on Wednesday 11th March. Be careful on beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths, roads. Be careful as sea spray and waves could be dangerous.

This Flood Warning is for the high tides on Sunday 9th February. High tides at Aberaeron are expected to occur at approximately 08:00 AM and 8:15 PM. The winds are forecast to be force 8 to 9 on Sunday morning, dropping to Force 7 to 8 by the evening, from a general South Westerly direction. Values in Tide Tables are not especially large during Sunday, however, these tides will coincide with Storm Ciara which will bring strong winds, tidal surge and very large waves. Please avoid seafront area around high tide. There is likely to be sea spray and possibly some wave overtopping. Properties along Quay Parade may be at greatest risk, currently the forecast indicates only relatively minor wave overtopping in this area, but it is recommended residents take precautions in case the forecast changes. We will continue to monitor the situation and update this message if the situation changes.

This Flood Warning is for tides between Tues 2nd Jan 2018 and Weds 3rd Jan. The winds are forecast to be force 8 from a Westerly direction. Offshore waves are expected to be very large. High tide at Aberaeron is expected to occur at approximately 8:00 PM on Tues 2nd Jan 2018 and at 8:15 AM on Weds 3rd Jan. Be careful on beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths& roads and low lying land. Be careful as sea spray and waves could be dangerous and could contain debris.

This Flood Warning is for this afternoons tide at approximately 6 pm, 16th October 2017. The winds are forecast to be gale force 9 from a south westerly direction. Offshore waves are expected to be very large. Large waves and high winds are expected to affect the length of the sea front in Aberaeron this afternoon. Wind assisted wave overtopping is likely to affect the seafront. The quayside will also be affected as waves enter the harbour area. Debris thrown up by the waves can be dangerous. Be careful on the seafront and the harbour. The public are advised to stay clear of the area over the period of high tide.
