River levels in Merlin’s Brook in Haverfordwest have dropped considerably overnight. River levels are likely to remain stable for some time. A further band of heavy rainfall is expected to arrive early afternoon on Friday the 9th November. We will continue to monitor the situation and update this message as the river responds to this next band of rain. This message will remain in force until we are certain the flood risk has passed. The rainfall is forecast to continue to the early hours of Friday 8th November. The heaviest rainfall is expected to continue through today and tomorrow, further rainfall is expected on the afternoon and evening of Friday 9th November. River levels in the Western Cleddau at Haverfordwest are expected to rise until at least 10:00 pm on Thursday the 8th November.
