River levels are still high in Bulverhythe, and will continue to rise over high tide periods. But the river will now fall very slightly over low tide. Flooding impacts will continue. Locations to be affected will include riverside areas of Combe Haven Holiday Park and gardens of properties on Bexhill Road backing onto the Recreation Ground. Monday should stay largely dry. Light rain Tuesday morning with the chance of heavy showers Tuesday afternoon 24/12/2019. As long as the heaviest showers miss the Combe Haven there should not be a significant rise in river levels. Further rain is forecast for Boxing day. The river should peak at a similar level to recent heights on Friday 27/12/2019. Tides increase to the weekend, but will only be 20cm higher so should not increase flood risk significantly. If you have personal, business or community flood plans please consider enacting them. Combe Haven
Nearly a month's rain has fallen this last week. River levels are high and now rising with the tide at Bulverhythe. Flooding is expected from 06:30 21/12/2019 and again at 18:00 21/12/2019.
