An updated FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Leven and Methil. A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding is possible from the sea. Flooding is expected along the coastal frontage in Leven and Methil. Areas most at risk include: properties adjacent to Methil Dockyard, Methil Industrial Estate, A955 Promenade, Shorehead, Branch Street, Bridge Street and Riverside Road. The greatest risk of flooding impacts is around the time of high tides on Sunday 11th February at 3.15am and 3.30pm. Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188. This FLOOD WARNING UPDATE is now in force until further notice and was sent by phone and SMS free of charge to registered customers of our Floodline direct warning service.
